So I know technically I got my hair chopped off in August, but you know how it grows out and you get it cut again and then it grows and you cut, over and over again. So I just got my trim Thursday and I must say, short hair is so much easier! Sheesh! Who knew I'd turn into a short hair fan so easily?
What are you all doing this weekend? We're more busy than usual for a weekend around here. Matt had a reception last night at school, and then I met him, Raphael, and his wife for drinks in downtown. Today I have taken Matt to school, gone to the gym (p.s. I think I hurt my back :/ yikes), gone to the grocery store, showered, and now I'm about to leave for lunch with Summers and Lisa, followed by a movie with Summers, Cori, and Rachel! :) Then, tonight, it's Sambuca with the Agnews. I will now take suggestions for what I should wear tonight! It's going to get down to 35 by tomorrow morning, so it's going to be chilly! I'd really like to wear a dress - obviously with tights and boots or something b/c of the cold. Maybe slacks? But I don't really have any dressy winter-time tops.
So the 8th graders are getting to me. For my FBAers, do you remember the time Mrs. Blount banged her head on the chalk board while saying "8th grade is a hopeless battle!"? Well, I am soooo with her! My 7th period makes my skin crawl. I ACTUALLY broke out in hives Thursday during 7th period. How lame is that? AGHHHH!!! First TAKS test is Tuesday - reading. Luckily I have a good group in my room for that. Cori's always raving about how she's looking forward to spring break. And yes, I AM looking forward to the break, but 8th graders after spring break are just high schoolers trapped in what they consider hell. Needless to say, they get a bit more unpleasant.
Speaking of spring break - I'll be in Dallas Saturday the 14th through Wednesday the 18th and I'm taking reservations :)

I want to see pics of your short hair! And oh yes, how I do remember Mrs. Blount's head-bashing rant. If you must, wait until the kids are out of the room, lest you become a legend 11years later... :)
OH.MY.GOODNESS. I cannot believe you broke out in hives during class! What a nightmare! And, I hope you didn't hurt your back too much at the gym. That is awful! I would love to see you when you're in town over Spring Break! Hope your dance card isn't too full yet! And, can you post a pic of the hair? Dying to see the do!

It's the same do I got in August, I just haven't maintained it very well. I'll work on a pic... I think Cori took one of us at Sambuca.
